A 39‑year‑old worker was injured after falling into a pit at a construction site in the Constitución neighborhood of Buenos Aires. The accident happened at the corner of Peru and Brasil streets. He suffered polytrauma and was transported to Hospital Argerich after first aid from the Special Rescue Group and a SAME ambulance.
The firefighters quickly extracted the worker from the pit, stabilized him, and brought him to the hospital. He received treatment for multiple injuries. The cause of the incident has not yet been determined.
